Speaker Interview
Who are you and what do you do?

My name is Thomas, I founded FE International. We’re a business brokerage company, so we help people sell online businesses.

What’s been your experience of the show?

UnGagged so far has been really good, it’s a nice, diverse crowd. Little different from last year, they’ve brought in a wider range of speakers. Tropicana has been a really good venue, and with the third event now it has reached the stage where they have figured out how to run the event, in a good way. It’s been perfect, with no issues or anything like that.

What were your favourite sessions?

I liked the keynote with Duane Forrester on monday, it was interesting to see behind the scenes of a big corporate, because my background is more small entrepreneur, small business. So, it was interesting to see how the more corporate world, the macro of the industry, goes on. I saw a few sessions on content marketing from a few people, so that’s always interesting. We’ve put a lot of time and investment into content marketing this year, so it’s interesting to see how to take it a step further. I’ve always thought we were always pretty good at content marketing, but then you see how the professionals do it, and we thought oh wow, we’re actually two or three steps behind.

If you could summarise UnGagged in one sentence, what would it be?

A great event for a variety of people.
